Ashlin Pandher

Registered Clinical Counsellor

Ashlin is a Registered Clinical Counsellor based in British Columbia who is passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences. She believes therapy is most meaningful when individuals feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted, and she strives to build a collaborative therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, authenticity, and trust.

Ashlin works with youth and adults experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem concerns, relationship and family difficulties, life transitions, grief and loss, and school or career-related stress. She also supports clients struggling with emotional regulation and intrusive thoughts. She understands that many people feel stuck between wanting change and not knowing where to begin, and she supports clients in making sense of their experiences while developing practical and sustainable ways to move forward.

Her approach is client-centred, trauma-informed, and strengths-based, recognizing that every individual brings unique experiences, values, and goals into therapy. While Ashlin’s work is primarily grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), she also integrates interventions from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, emotion-focused work, and somatic and creative approaches depending on each client’s needs. She values flexibility in the therapeutic process and works collaboratively with clients to tailor sessions in a way that feels supportive, empowering, and meaningful to them.

Ashlin is especially passionate about helping clients build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, improve their relationship with themselves and others, and reconnect with the parts of them that may feel lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected. She also enjoys incorporating creative and expressive approaches, including art-based interventions, when verbal expression feels difficult or limiting.

With warmth, curiosity, and compassion, Ashlin aims to create a space where clients can move at their own pace and feel supported through both the challenges and growth that therapy can bring. She recognizes that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and she deeply values the courage it takes to begin the therapeutic process. Whether clients are navigating a difficult life transition, processing past experiences, or simply seeking a space to better understand themselves, Ashlin feels honoured to walk alongside them in their journey towards healing, self-understanding, and emotional well-being.
